Combat & Weapons
Combat
Combat is not about winning but it about being fair and realistic. Take hits. Maybe not all but some.
Limit each post to two actions or hits. One should be defensive if your opponent has attacked prior
If using a weapon, you must draw in one post, aim a projectile in a second post, fire a projectile in a third. A melee weapon can be drawn and used in two posts.
If you are called into a scene make sure you use one post to get the call, one or more to travel to scene, one to announce you have arrived at the scene, then you can engage in combat.
This cannot be stressed enough; always allow your In-Character foe some choice. Never make a shot where the person will have to die or be permanently altered unless you have their permission.
Count shots. Ammunition is not limitless. If you have a projectile weapon on your person please know the numbers of projectiles it has. If you run out a post will be used to reload and then another post to aim before the final post where you can shoot.
If there is an issue with another player try to work it out first in instant message between you and the other person. If you are unable to resolve the issue this way pause the scene, note card the scene, and request staff moderation.
Remember above all else, this is fun.

Weapons
Like Combat rules let's make sure that we use common sense:
Try to make using weapons a last resort.
Please NO kill shots unless it was previously planned with the person who is getting killed.
Have a story or backstory for possession of a weapon. Golds would simply have the availability to their Razors and other weapons. Silvers would have the money and connections to get what they wanted. Blues may carry a weapon if at all. Reds and Pinks need to find a good way IC to have their weapons, if they have them at all.
Also, if you lose your weapon it should not immediately re-spawn. Find the back channels that would allow you to get it back. That should be part of the fun role-playing your character. You know, how does your character deal with limited means to acquire what is necessary to them?
Finally, before you use a weapon make sure that you take one post to pull or draw the weapon, one post to aim it, and another post to fire a shot.
